Unlock Surveys is legit, and it's run by the same company that ran Springboard America, one of the oldest survey sites in the business. Overall, it's a free and easy way to earn extra money and gift cards in your spare time.

You can't earn a full-time income with this site. But it's a reputable side hustle that is very beginner-friendly.

What Is Unlock Surveys & How Does It Work?

Unlock Surveys is a free survey website that's globally available. It lets everyday people earn money online by sharing their opinions about popular topics like health, entertainment, politics, sports, and more.

Signing up is free. All you need to do is visit Unlock Surveys and complete a short profile questionnaire. This questionnaire asks you demographic questions like your age, gender, education level, background, income level, and similar questions.

Right off the bat, you get a 200 point welcome bonus. You also earn an entry into Unlock's $1,000 cash sweepstake for new members, which is pretty cool.

However, Unlock Surveys doesn't accept every member. So, you might not get into the panel based on the answers to various demographic questions, which is a downside.

This is the same system Pinecone Research and other premium panels use. But if you do get in, you can begin answering surveys that are available in your main dashboard.

Survey rates are fairly competitive. You generally earn anywhere from $0.25 to $1 or $2 per survey, but there are higher-paying surveys as well if you get lucky.

Surveys are the main way to make money with Unlock. So, you won't find diverse offerwall tasks like you do with some gpt sites. The company occasionally runs referral bonuses, but this isn't always the case. But if you just want to share your opinion to make money, this site could be for you.

Unlock Surveys requires 25,000 points to cash out a $25 reward. You can redeem your “Survey Points” for PayPal money or free gift cards to companies like:

Earning Potential

You can likely make about $10 to $50 a month with Unlock Surveys if you answer a couple of surveys per week. Some members earn more, but how much you make ultimately depends on how many surveys you qualify for and how much time you invest into the platform.

Who Can Sign Up?

To join Unlock Surveys, you must be 18 or older and be a resident of the United States. Additionally, you can't join the panel if you work in market research or a related industry.

Unlock has a “somewhere else” button you can check when signing up to indicate if you live outside of the United States. I think this automatically disqualifies you from the panel but I'm not 100% sure.

In any case, if you don't qualify for Unlock Surveys, you can try more globally-friendly sites like Toluna and YouGov.

Is There A Mobile App?

Unlock Surveys doesn't have a survey app. However, the website is mobile-friendly so you can still login on your phone and complete surveys there.

If your phone is the main way you answer surveys, I also suggest checking out Ipsos iSay and AttaPoll to earn more.
