This Prime Opinion review is covering how the site works, its pros and cons, and how to decide if it's right for you.

What Is Prime Opinion?
Prime Opinion is a paid survey website that lets you share your opinion to make money. It's completely free to join, and the platform is available in dozens of countries from around the world.
Signing up is completely free, and I made a video showing how it works and how I cashed out with it. Once you're a member, you can then complete online surveys about a variety of topics, like entertainment or politics, to earn points.
Points are redeemable for a wide range of prizes, including dozens of free gift cards and PayPal money. And according to Prime Opinion's website, it pays 150% more on average than its competitors.
And while Prime Opinion is one of the newer survey companies to enter the industry, the company is highly rated. It currently has a 4.5 star rating on Trustpilot and is quickly becoming one of the more popular sites out there.
Is Prime Opinion Legit?
Yes, Prime Opinion is legit and is one of the higher-paying survey sites out there. It also has a 4.5 star rating on Trustpilot and over 5,500 reviews from users.
Additionally, I signed up for Prime Opinion and cashed out $5 to PayPal. The company paid me within an hour, and my payment proof shows that the company follows through with its promises:
Ultimately, you can't quit your full-time job by using Prime Opinion. But if you want to earn quick money and get paid to share your opinion, it's a reputable site that's worth using.
How Does Prime Opinion Work?
I've heard a lot of positive buzz about Prime Opinion since it's one of the newer companies in this space. So, I decided to make an account, answer some surveys, and find out how it works before writing this review.
If you're used to using survey and gpt sites, Prime Opinion should feel familiar. It only takes five steps from signing up to making money:
- Answer available surveys
- Invite people to join
- Win leaderboard contests and streaks
- Cash out
1. Sign Up
You can sign up for Prime Opinion for free if you're 18 or older. The platform is currently available in 20+ countries, including:
- Australia
- Belgium
- Brazil
- Canada
- France
- Italy
- Germany
- Philippines
- Spain
- Thailand
- The United States
- The UK
- Vietnam
This global availability is one perk of Prime Opinion. And when you sign up, you also get to choose a welcome bonus to work towards.
I chose the 100 point welcome bonus that I can redeem once I earn 500 points. But I like that the site gives you three different sign up bonuses to choose from depending on how quickly you want to cash out.
Once you choose your bonus, you answer a short survey to finish your profile. This surveys asks basic demographic questions and helps Prime Opinion match you with more relevant surveys.
2. Answer Surveys
The main way to earn money online with Prime Opinion is to complete surveys. And this is where the platform truly shines because of the sheer number of surveys you can complete.
For example, in my main dashboard, I have over a dozen available surveys at a given time. And surveys also tell you how many points they pay and how long they take, which I love.
Most surveys pay about $0.50 to $1 worth of points, which is a competitive rate. But you can find surveys that pay $1 to $2 pretty often, and Prime Opinion says surveys can pay up to $5 in the United States.
You might not qualify for every survey that you apply for, but screener questions are pretty short. And there are so many available surveys, so you probably won't run out of ones to answer anytime soon.
3. Refer Your Friends
An additional way to earn points on Prime Opinion is to refer your family and friends to join the platform.
Its referral bonus currently pays you a 100 coin reward when you invite someone to join and they make their first withdrawal. This is a nice $1 bonus, and it's a fun way for you and some friends to try a new side hustle together.
Just note that you can't refer yourself to join. So, don't try to game the system by creating multiple accounts or using a VPN since this will result in getting banned.
4. Win Leaderboard Contests
If you're serious about answering surveys to make as much money as possible each month, Prime Opinion's leaderboard contests could be for you.
The platform has a special leaderboard that shows the top earning users for a given week. Top earners receive free cash as bonuses as a perk for being so active, and Prime Opinion pays out over $1,000 per month to these leaders.
On top of that, you can also earn bonus points by completing streaks and using Prime Opinion regularly. If you complete surveys seven days in a row, you receive a ticket that pays you up to 1,000 bonus coins in a lucky raffle.
Streak tickets pay you coins every single time, so you're always walking away with some free money. And if you have a lot of time on your hands one month, you can go for the leaderboard contest as well to earn even more.
Cashing Out & Rewards
One of my favorite parts about Prime Opinion is the variety of rewards it offer. And you can cash out with most rewards at just 500 coins, which is worth $5, so you don't have to wait days or weeks to actually get paid.
As for your reward options, Prime Opinion offers PayPal cash, charitable donations, prepaid Visa cards, and free gift cards. There are dozens of gift card options, including ones to retailers like:
Just note that the country you're from influences which gift cards are available. Coin redemption requirements also vary by country and reward, but in general, many $5 rewards are available after earning 300 to 500 coins.
Once you select your reward and redeem, your prize should arrive quickly. Most Prime Opinion surveys rewards arrive in around 30 minutes, and gift card codes are sent to your email.
How Much Does Prime Opinion Pay – My Experience
According to Prime Opinion's website, the average user earns $11 per day. This is over $300 a month, and Prime Opinion is one of the higher-paying survey sites in the space and has plenty of available surveys.
I answered 7 surveys on Prime Opinion to cash out. Here's how much each one paid so you get an idea:
- Survey #1: $0.99.
- Survey #2: $0.35.
- Survey #3: $0.36.
- Survey #4: $1.07.
- Survey #5: $0.82.
- Survey #6: $0.08.
- Survey #7: $0.14.
As you can see in my screenshot above, most of my surveys paid $0.35 to $1 or even more. And they al took about 5 to 10 minutes to complete which is pretty decent. Overall, expect to earn about $3 to $6 per hour with this site, or a bit more if you get a bit lucky.

Other Prime Opinion Reviews
After signing up for Prime Opinion, I like how many surveys it offers and how easy the platform is to use. And I also like how many countries the platform is available in.
If you look at Prime Opinion reviews on platforms like Trustpilot, many other members also seem happy with the site. Here's what some recent ones are saying:
- David P says: “Have just started using Prime Opinions and it is a revelation. Lots of surveys to attempt and a good acceptance rate so it is easy to accumulate point to give you access to a really wide range of gift cards.”
- Tyler Molett says: “I just started using Prime Opinion not too long ago and I am extremely satisfied with my experience. It doesn't take me long to cash out my points, I just cashed out on Monday and got a gift card for $10. Prime Opinion is simple and easy to use. When you cash out, your Egift card comes within 5 minutes after you cash out.”
- Eddie says: “They have really good customer service and really respond quickly to any problems you have. This has become one of my favorite sites. They always have plenty of surveys to take and add new ones every day.”
The number of users citing great customer service and fast payouts is a positive sign. And the only complaint some users seem to have is that they eventually run out of surveys or get disqualified sometimes.
The Best Sites Like Prime Opinion
In my opinion, Prime Opinion is a top-tier survey website that belongs in your side hustle stack if you're already using these types of websites.
However, it always pays to have several sites in your toolkit so you can complete as many surveys as possible. Some of my favorite Prime Opinion alternatives include:
- Branded Surveys
- Kashkick
- Swagbucks
- Five Surveys
- InboxDollars
- Survey Junkie
- Scrambly
- HeyCash
- AttaPoll
Branded Surveys is my other favorite site. But after testing out Prime Opinion, it's now a top 3 survey website in my opinion.
Customer Support
One weakness of many survey websites is poor customer service. Like many industries, these companies are often short staffed and just do not have the manpower to keep up with inquiries.
One area where Prime Opinion surveys really seem to excel is in customer service. For starters, it has live chat support that's available 24/7. And it also has a comprehensive FAQ and help section where you can find answers to common questions people have.
Prime Opinion is also developing a new account level program where you earn perks as you answer more surveys. Currently, you can unlock live chat support at level Bronze, and new perks are coming soon as the program gets released.
Is Prime Opinion Worth It?
Prime Opinion is worth using if you want a high-paying survey site that's flexible and has a variety of rewards. Completing a few surveys per day can mean an extra $100 to $200 a month in your pocket, which can really add up if you're trying to save more money.
In contrast, Prime Opinion isn't worth it if you want a full-time online job. This is one of the highest-paying survey sites in the industry, but have realistic expectations about how much you can earn.
Final Thoughts
At the end of the day, there are hundreds of survey sites out there. And the blunt reality is that a lot of them don't pay and aren't worth your time.
Thankfully, Prime Opinion is different. It offers excellent reward variety and has competitive payment rates. Overall, I think it's a legitimate and useful online side hustle for anyone wanting to make a bit of side cash in their spare time.
Just set some earning goals and have realistic expectations. And remember to go for streaks and other bonuses to earn as much as possible.
