It also has a nice $10 sign-up bonus for new users. On paper, it seems like a pretty high-paying GPT site that you can use to make some extra cash in your spare time.

And if you've ever used similar survey platforms like Prolific or Branded Surveys, Opinion Inn is going to feel very familiar. Overall, it's a simple, easy-to-use survey website.

The question is: how does it work, and can you actually make money?

How Does Opinion Inn Work?

Opinion Inn is very easy to use, and surveys and polls are the main way to make money. All-in-all, the platform works in five simple steps:

1. Sign up
2. Complete your profile
3. Answer online surveys
4. Complete polls
5. Cash out

Here's how each step works in a bit more detail.

1. Sign Up

Registering for Opinion Inn is quick and simple. Simply visit its website and enter your basic demographic such as your age, marital status and Zip code.

I was able to sign up for Opinion Inn in just a few minutes.

Some users on Reddit report that they can't sign up because their Zip codes aren't accepted. While this survey platform is technically worldwide, it mostly accepts users from the United States, Canada, UK, and Australia. If you can't sign up with your Zip code, you're basically out of luck.

2. Complete Your Profile

After signing up, you receive a confirmation email to verify your email address and to generate your password.

While this screen was a bit glitchy during my sign up, I was finally able to get it to submit. After you generate your password, your account gets reviewed, which can take 48 hours to 72 hours for approval.

This step is a bit strange since most beermoney sites let you use the platform once you verify your email.

However, following approval, you get the $10 sign-up bonus credited to your account, which is nice.

3. Answer Surveys

After you are approved as a member for Opinion Inn, you can begin answering surveys for cash.

You receive email notifications when paid survey opportunities are available. You can also find available surveys if you login and check your Opinion Inn dashboard.

Surveys cover topics like entertainment, sports, politics, health, and the regular things you'd expect from market research companies. You can also get a lot of surveys that relate to your job and industry, since you enter this info when you sign up.

However, Opinion Inn doesn't usually have endless surveys to answer, or even any at all.

This means it's a slow-earner for many people, and you might only get a couple of surveys every week that each pay a few dollars at most. I highly doubt you'll find any $10 to $100 surveys like the site has claimed.

4. Complete Polls

In addition to completing surveys, you can also earn money by completing polls on Opinion Inn. These are short, occasional polls that Opinion Inn can ask members in exchange for a tiny bit of money.

Also note that there's a monthly draw for a $500 cash prize. You have to answer at least five surveys in a month to qualify for the draw, but it's a nice chance to earn some free money.

Product sampling opportunities are also available on Opinion Inn, although I couldn't find any in my account and I don't know how common this is.

5. Cash Out

You have to earn at least $25 to cash out with Opinion Inn. This is fairly high in the world of online surveys, although the initial $10 sign-up bonus helps you reach this amount a bit faster.

Opinion Inn lets you cash out with PayPal money, not free gift cards, which might be a positive or negative for you.

Personally, as someone who makes money online regularly, I love that PayPal is the primary payment option rather than various gift cards. This way I can use my earnings however I choose, including depositing them into my bank account.
