How To Make $10 Dollars A Day
1. Use Paid Survey Sites
One of the easiest ways to make money online is to share your opinion with paid survey websites.
I've been using these types of get-paid-to sites for years to make a bit of extra cash. And they're a legitimate way to make $10 fast while you watch TV or in your spare time at home.
Some leading survey websites I've used over the years and suggest trying include:
- Branded Surveys: This popular survey site to earn free PayPal money and gift cards.
- Freecash: My new favorite rewards platform.
- Swagbucks: This site lets you earn by answering short surveys, watching ads, shopping online, downloading apps, and more.
- Kashkick: Another fun way to answer surveys and play games for PayPal cash.
- Pinecone research: A leading survey panel that pays $3 per survey you complete.
- Survey Junkie: Lets you share your opinion and cash out after you make just $5.
- InboxDollars: One final, versatile survey website with a nice $5 sign up bonus.
I made a YouTube video that covers some of my favorite survey websites that you can watch for even more ideas.
2. Freelance Online
Another way to make $10 a day online is to sell your skills as a freelancer.
This is also something I've been doing for years. In fact, I now make money on a laptop while traveling the world, with the majority of my income coming from blogging and freelancing.
Now personally, I make a lot of my freelancing income from freelance writing. In fact, I can make $500 a day or more just by writing if I have enough steady work on the go.
But writing is just one example of how to make money with freelancing. Other popular gigs that can earn $10 a day or more include:
- Accounting
- Digital marketing
- Graphic design
- SEO
- Social media manager
- Transcription
- Website design
- Voice actor
- Video editing
- Virtual assistant work
The only downside to this method is that it can take time to find your first clients and repeat business.
However, if you just need $10 a day, you can probably get by with finding beginner jobs on Upwork, Fiverr, and FlexJobs. And asking your network for gigs is also an excellent way to get started.
3. Play Games For Money
Are you a fan of video games? If so, the great news is that you can make $10 a day online by playing video games for money,
That's right: these days, there's actually a wide array of apps that pay you for playing games. So, you can turn your next gaming session into extra cash or some free gift cards.
Some of my favorite paid gaming apps include:
- Bingo Cash: A leading iPhone money game that pays you to play Bingo.
- Mistplay: A leading Android gaming app with PayPal cash and gift card prizes.
- Cash Giraffe: One more Android gaming app with a low $0.20 cash out minimum.
- Money Well: A popular app like Mistplay you can use to get cash and gift card rewards.
- Solitaire Cash: Another fun way to play competitive card games for money.
- Gamehag: This PC gaming platform lets you earn free Steam games, gift cards, merch, and more.
My video also covers some fun ways to play games for cash that you can use to get $10 a day online.
Personally, Cash Giraffe and Mistplay are my favorite two apps since I have an Android.
If you're an iPhone fan, I suggest checking out my post on the best iOS gaming apps or post on the best games that pay you through Cash App for ideas to get started.
4. Make Money With Delivery Apps
The gig economy is ripe with ways to make money. And some of the best gig apps just involve picking up food or packages and then delivering them to people in your city.
Several high-paying apps you can use include:
- DoorDash: The leading food delivery app in North America.
- Instacart: A popular way to get paid to shop for people's groceries.
- Amazon Flex: One of the most lucrative apps that pays you to drive.
- Shipt: Another popular delivery job like Instacart.
- Walmart Spark: This gig pays you to pick up Walmart orders and deliver them to customers.
- Uber Eats: One final food delivery app you can use to make money.
In the video above, YouTuber Your Driver Mike shares how you can make $100 a day with jobs like DoorDash; a much higher amount than making $10 a day!
In reality, you can probably make 10 bucks a day by working for an hour or so with any of these gig apps. And a lot of gig workers I know multi-app with DoorDash and Instacart to get as many orders as possible.
Start making money with Uber Eats!
5. Sell Stuff You Don't Need
If you're willing to hustle, another idea to get $10 dollars a day is to sell your unused stuff to people.
I've done this in college before to make money. In the past, I've sold things like old guitars, furniture, and clothing to make some quick cash.
And, thanks to technology, it's now easier than ever to start a resale business where you buy products and then flip them for a profit by selling them online.
Some of my favorite selling apps and marketplaces include:
- Facebook Marketplace: One of the best ways to sell almost anything to local buyers.
- OfferUp: A popular app like Facebook Marketplace where you can sell locally or online.
- Mercari: This online marketplace lets you sell almost anything and has low fees.
- Poshmark: One of the best ways to sell clothing, handbags, shoes, jewelry, and watches.
- Worthy: A secure way to sell jewelry, watches, and diamonds online for fast cash.
I also have a YouTube video that outlines some of my favorite selling platforms that you can use to find buyers.
If you build up your inventory, earning $10 a day likely takes one or two sales. And you can slowly scale your resale business as you reinvest profits.
And if these apps don't work, you can always try old fashioned methods like hosting a garage sale or pawning stuff for cash!
6. Invest For Income
Another way to make $10 dollars a day involves investing money for income. And if you're a fan of passive income, this could be the perfect strategy.
There are also lots of options you can consider when it comes to investing for income, including:
- Investing in dividend stocks and ETFs
- Using micro investing apps like Acorns
- Investing in CDs and bonds
- Investing in alternative assets
- Investing in real estate with companies like Arrived
There's no single right answer for how to start. And if you need specific advice, you should talk to a financial professional and do your own research as well.
However, I really like the idea of making money on autopilot through investing. And you can certainly work up to $10 a day in extra income with this strategy.

7. Become A Mystery Shopper
Plenty of money-making apps exist these days that pay you to provide info about local businesses. So, you can turn your next shopping trip into an opportunity to get some easy money.
Several leading apps you can sign up for include:
These apps won't make you rich. But you can realistically make a few dollars in your spare time by completing some nearby shopping tasks.
8. Work With Rover
Do you love dogs? If so, one fun side hustle that can easily make $10 dollars a day is to work with Rover.
Rover is a gig app that connects pet owners with pet sitters and walkers. As a Rover worker, you can make money by helping people take care of their dogs and pets, all on your own schedule.
What's nice about Rover is that you can set your hourly rate and the types of dogs you work with. This makes it a flexible side hustle, and earning $15 to $20 per hour is quite common.
You need to create a good Rover profile with a catchy headline and lots of photos. As you get reviews from clients, it becomes easier to get consistent gigs, so making $10 a day is quite realistic.
9. Invest In Real Estate
Historically, real estate investing was only available to the wealthy. But thanks to the rise of crowdfunding companies, everyday people can now get in on the action.
For example, companies like Arrived let you invest in individual rental properties starting with only $100. As a part owner, you then earn income from monthly rental payments and potential property appreciation.
This low investing minimum means that just about anyone can get started (as long as you live in the United States). Overall, companies like Arrived help you put your money to work and diversify your portfolio.
You can also check out other real estate investing companies. For example, Fundrise is a similar company that invests in apartment buildings and multi family homes.
Fundrise is nice since it has a $10 investing minimum and usually has a $10 sign up bonus. But whatever the case, these sorts of companies help make real estate investing far more accessible.

10. Become A Blogger
If you're still wondering how to make $10 dollars a day online, one method you can try is to start your own blog.
I know this method works because blogging is how I make a lot of my income these days. In fact, in 2022, WebMonkey made $272,000 through a combination of Mediavine ads and affiliate income.
It took about five years to scale my blogging income to this point. And these days, WebMonkey makes $1,000 a day or more through various income streams.
But if you put in the effort and consistently create content that provides value to people, there's no reason why you can't make money blogging.
And earning $10 a day online is possible. Even a small niche site with Google AdSense and Amazon Affiliate links can reach this income milestone in a couple of months!
11. Start A YouTube Channel
Like blogging, another method to make $10 dollars a day online is to make money with YouTube.
I started my own YouTube channel back in 2020 to talk about ways to make money online. Since then, it's passed 19,000 subscribers and now makes $50 a day or so in advertising income.
Again, it takes a while to grow an online business like a blog or YouTube channel. But once you become consistent and have a small audience, things can often snowball and rapidly grow your income.
And you don't have to spend a fortune to start either! Even filming videos on your phone or a cheap starter camera can get the job done.
12. Do Odd Jobs For Cash
Another easy way to make extra money is to do local cash jobs. And thanks to a variety of money-making apps out there, this has never been easier.
For example, apps like TaskRabbit let you make money with a variety of services, including:
- Babysitting
- Cleaning
- Errand running
- Furniture assembly
- Junk removal
- Landscaping
- Painting
- Tech help
- Window washing
You can set your own rates and availability with TaskRabbit, so it's a flexible side gig.
And this is just one example of how you can find work. Similar apps like Wonolo and Handy also connect gig workers with companies and people that need help. And you can also find quick work with odd job apps like Instawork.
13. Rent Out Things For Cash
Another idea you can check out is to rent out things for cash that you're not using.
There are plenty of ways you can try this passive income idea. For example, some popular rental business ideas include renting:
- Storage space with apps like Neighbor
- A spare room with Airbnb
- A vehicle with Getaround or Turo
- Expensive gear like bikes and cameras with Fat Llama
A single rental unit in an Airbnb or with Neighbor can easily make a few hundred bucks a month. And I like how rental businesses can often turn into a passive income side hustle if you outsource some of the work.
14. Use Microtask Websites
If you like the idea of making money from home, you can always use microtask websites to make a bit of extra cash.
These types of websites pay you for completing easy online tasks like data entry, transcription gigs, and social media moderation. You can then cash out via PayPal or gift cards for your efforts.
Some of the most popular microtask sites you can try include:
- Clickworker: A leading microtask website with global membership and PayPal cash payments.
- Appen: Another popular, global platform you can apply to.
- PlaytestCloud: This website testing gig pays you to test apps and games that are in development.
- TryMyUI: Another user-testing gig like UserTesting and PlaytestCloud.
- Rev: This leading transcription website pays you to transcribe audio files.
These sites aren't full-time online jobs. But you can use them to get $10 a day online if you spend an hour or two completing short tasks.

15. Online Tutoring
One final way you can make $10 a day is to make money as an online tutor.
There are lots of websites and apps that pay qualified tutors to help teach students and adults various subjects. So, if you're a subject-matter expert in a topic, you can make $10 a day or much more by teaching a few classes per day.
BookNook is a perfect example. This company pays U.S. tutors to teach English and math, and it generally pays $15 to $18 or more per hour.
You can also apply to become a tutor on websites like Cambly. And there are tons of other websites where you can sell notes for money or get paid to do homework.
