Lootup Review – Is Lootup.me Legit & Worth It?
If you want to earn money online, one of the easiest ways to start is to use various gpt sites that pay you for completing short online tasks.
I've been using these types of sites and apps since college. And I like that they let you earn a bit of pocket money on the side without much effort.
Lootup.me, one of the newer players in this space, also says that you can make money online in your spare time.
But is Lootup legit? And how much money can you make with this rewards website?
I tested out the platform to find out. And my Lootup review is covering everything you need to know about this platform.
What Is Lootup?
Lootup.me is a get-paid-to website that lets you earn PayPal cash, gift cards, and Bitcoin for completing short online tasks. Adscend Media, the company that owns Lootup, is also a popular offerwall provider that many other reward websites use.
You can sign up for Lootup if you're 18 or older, and using the site is free. And if you've ever used other paid survey sites or apps that pay you for playing games and completing offers, Lootup is going to feel quite familiar.
Overall, Lootup looks like a pretty well-rounded gpt site on the surface. So, let's take a look under the hood to see how you actually make money with this site.
How Does Lootup Work?
I signed up for Lootup and tested out the website for this review. All-in-all, the site is very beginner-friendly and works in eight simple steps:
- Answer surveys
- Complete paid offers
- Shop online
- Watch ads
- Use the Lootup referral program
- Level up your Lootup account
- Enter contests
- Cash out
Let's explore how each of these steps works in a bit more detail!
1. Sign Up
You can sign up for Lootup if you're 18 or older, and the platform is available in most countries. It takes about a minute to sign up, and options include Facebook, Google, or entering an email and password.
Lootup says you get a $5 sign up bonus, which makes it pretty competitive to sites like Swagbucks and InboxDollars.
To get this bonus, you must earn 10,000 points, which is worth $10, within 30 days of signing up. But this is a nice way to get free money and hit the ground running.
You also get 250 points, which is worth $0.25, upon signing up. You can then earn even more free points by doing things like following Lootup on social media, completing your profile, enabling push notifications, and other similar tasks.
Overall, the sign up bonus plus the free earning options at the start are a pretty nice welcome package, in my opinion.
2. Answer Surveys
One of the main ways to make money with Lootup is to answer short online surveys.
You have to complete your profile to unlock the highest-paying surveys. Completing your profile also helps you qualify for more surveys since Lootup can match you to more relevant ones.
A lot of surveys on Lootup pay around 500 to 1,500 points, which is $0.50 to $1.50.
You can get disqualified for surveys, but this is the case with pretty much any rewards site. And qualifying for surveys can take some time.
However, the process is pretty much the same as sites like InboxDollars, Grindabuck, and other popular survey sites.
3. Complete Paid Offers
Another way to make money with Lootup is to complete various paid offers. And since Adscend Media owns this website, this offerwall section is where Lootup really shines.
For starters, I could complete about 210 offers when I signed up. And a lot of these paid offers pay anywhere from $5 to $75 or more upon completion.
Examples of offers you can complete with Lootup include:
- Downloading apps for money
- Signing up for free trials
- Entering giveaways
- Shopping online
- Playing games for cash
Offers can require completing certain steps to earn. For example, a 75,000 point Raid Shadow Legends offer I have requires opening four sacred shards within 21 days as a new user, which takes some effort.
However, if you want free money and are willing to explore some new apps and services, this offerwall can be quite lucrative.
4. Shop Online
If you want to get paid to shop, then Lootup.me has a few options for you.
For starters, you can always earn points by completing certain offerwall tasks that require making a purchase. And Lootup also has a cash back shopping extension, the Lootup Deal Finder.
This Chrome extension lets you earn cash back for shopping at 50,000+ retailers. Cash back you earn deposits in your Lootup account, so you can cash out via the payment method that suits you.
Ultimately, if you have an upcoming shopping trip, it's worth using Lootup.me so you save some extra cash.
5. Watch Videos
Another way to make money with Lootup.me is to use its video rewards portal.
This passive income idea basically pays you to watch videos and ads. Hideout.tv, one of the most popular video rewards platform, is what powers this section,
I've used Hideout.tv channels in the past, and it's one of my favorite passive income websites since it's so easy to use.
You don't earn much for watching videos. But Lootup.me has over 15 channels, so you can always play some channels in the background while you work to snag some free points.
6. Invite Your Friends
The Lootup referral program pays you 10% of your referral's earnings for life. And if you invite over 500 people, you get 15% of their earnings instead.
Personally, I like referral apps that pay a flat rat rather than lifetime earnings. But it's still nice that you can invite your friends to Lootup and earn for life.
7. Level Up Your Account
One unique way to earn rewards with Lootup is to use the new Lootup rewards program.
This program pays you with bonus points as you earn points and level up your overall Lootup account. You get your first reward of just $1, and you keep earning larger bonuses the more you earn with the platform.
I think this program is a great way to incentivize members to keep earning. And I like that Lootup pays you more the longer you use its website.
8. Enter Contests
Lootup runs numerous contests and giveaways where you can get free points. Some of the best giveaways and contests include:
- Monthly Lootup point giveaways of $50 and $100
- Lootup referral contests
- Spinning the Lootup Wheel every 24 hours to get free points
- Entering Lootup promo codes for bonus points
You can also pay points to enter Lootup giveaways, but I like how many free contests there are.
And the LootUp Wheel you can spin is available every 24 hours, so it's easy to consistently earn points if you use the site regularly.
9. Get Paid
Lootup has a 1,000 point redemption minimum, which is worth $1. This is one of the lowest cash out requirements in the industry, making Lootup a pretty popular app that pays you real money.
You can also redeem your points for several prizes, including:
- Free PayPal cash
- Cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, and Shiba Inu
- Free gift cards to companies like Amazon, DoorDash, and Uber Eats
The $1 cash out minimum is one of my favorite parts of Lootup.me. And the site says that most transactions take one to two business days, so you can get paid quickly.
If you have trouble cashing out, you can contact Lootup support through the website to get assistance.
Is Lootup Legit?
Yes, Lootup is legit, and the site lets you earn rewards for completing short online tasks. Adscend Media is also a popular company in the paid survey space, and I've cashed out with its services numerous times over the years.
That said, Lootup.me is just an easy side hustle, not a full-time online job or serious income source.
You can realistically earn some extra beermoney in your spare time with this site. But don't expect to make thousands of dollars or to become rich.
How Much Does Lootup Pay?
LootUp pays around $0.50 to $1.50 per survey you complete, but you can earn much more by completing different offerwall tasks. Overall, you can realistically make $5 to $50 per month or a bit more if you put enough effort in.
Again, Lootup is just a fun, online side hustle, not a full-time income source. But as long as you have realistic expectations, there's no reason you can't find success with the site.
Pros & Cons
Pros:
- Free to sign up
- A $5 sign up bonus
- Numerous ways to earn
- A low $1 cash out minimum
- There's a money-making Android app as well as the website
- Monthly contests and giveaways
- You can get free PayPal cash as well as gift cards and crypto
Cons:
- Disqualifications from surveys can happen
- You have to be 18 or older to sign up for Lootup
Other Lootup Reviews
I think Lootup.me is legit after signing up and exploring the site. But one of the best ways to tell if a money-making website is worth it or not is to read reviews from other users.
Thankfully, there are other Lootup reviews on forums like Reddit where other members share their experiences:
- Wartex_Alpha says: “Lootup has surveys which pay well. Especially with the nice feature, they have a wheel you can spin 1 time per day. You can win some points but the coolest is, it's possible to get 10%,20%, and 50% bonus(last 24h). So whenever you do a survey or “cash in” your points, you will get bonus points.”
- Penny Pay says: “I use LootUp and like the site a lot…Lastly I wanted to mention they have promo codes on their facebook page. Typically Monday, Wednesday and Friday around the same time. And there is a promo code on the LootUp subreddit as well. Stop by to chat, grab the code and get some tips.”
- Left-Interaction-414 says: “The website is great.”
As you can see, Lootup.me reviews are generally positive. Although some users say they have gotten banned for watching Hideout.tv videos endlessly.
Take note of this since if you use the video rewards portal 24/7 like people often do with phone farming, you're likely getting banned.

The Best Sites Like Lootup
I think Lootup is a solid gpt site with plenty of ways to earn. And I like that it has a low cash out minimum so you can get quick money.
However, using other apps and sites like Lootup.me is the best way to earn more money per month. This is because you can cherry pick the highest paying offers and surveys.
Some of my favorite Lootup alternatives include:
- Branded Surveys: Share your opinion to earn gift cards and PayPal money!
- Ipsos iSay: Another leading, global survey panel with a low $5 cash out minimum.
- Swagbucks: This site pays you to complete surveys, play trivia for cash, shop online, watch videos, and more.
- Kashkick: A newer rewards site that lets you make money with gaming and survey offers.
- Mistplay: This Android app pays you to download and play new mobile games.
- Survey Junkie: Another popular survey site with a $5 cash out minimum.
I also made a YouTube video that covers some leading survey websites you can use to make some extra cash alongside Lootup.
Just remember: these sites are a good way to make $10 fast or some small amount in your spare time. If you want to make more money, using different gig economy apps or freelancing online are better options.

Final Thoughts
I hope my Lootup review helps explain how this rewards website works and sets some realistic expectations.
Personally, I like how many earning options Lootup has. And I love the fact you can cash out at only $1, which is quite rare in the paid survey and gaming space.
Sure, you won't make $100 a day or anything even close to that amount with Lootup. But the point of this site is to make some extra cash on the side, not to replace your main income source.
Hopefully, you find success with this site and can cash out soon!
