Extensions like Honey or Rakuten also have millions of users, and if you want to earn free gift cards or cashback for online shopping, they're perfect for you.

What Is Lolli?
Lolli is a free browser extension that lets you earn free Bitcoin when shopping online. The entire mission behind this platform is to help make cryptocurrency more accessible to the average shopper.
Founded in 2018, Lolli is still pretty new in the online shopping space. Currently, Lolli only supports 2 browsers and has over 30,000 users based on extension download numbers.
Although they’re new, Lolli still works with over 10,000 popular brands that you can earn Bitcoin at when you shop on one of the partners’ sites.
Again, the main difference to take away from Lolli compared to other money saving browser extensions is that you will be rewarded in the form of Bitcoin rather than cash.
If that sounds like something you’re interested in compared to just earning cashback or gift cards, then stick around until the end to find out the pros and cons of using Lolli.
How Does Lolli Work?
The Lolli browser extension works in 3 simple steps, and overall, I found it was very easy to download and use while testing it out for this review.
In fact, to date, I've earned about $13 worth of Bitcoin from using Lolli and referring some readers from WebMonkey. But this took no effort, and I don't really use Lolli too often.
At the end of the day, I love getting paid to shop, so I was happy that Lolli works pretty easily. Here's a breakdown of each step and how you can use it to get some free Bitcoin.
1. Install The Lolli Extension
The first step in using Lolli is to install their extension. This lets you earn Bitcoin for shopping at various Lolli partners.
Here’s how to install Lolli onto your browser:
- Go to lolli.com.
- Click on “Get Lolli for Chrome.”
- Select “Add to Chrome.”
- Lolli will install their extension, which you should see on the top corner of your browser.
- Sign up with an email and password.
That’s it! Once you have Lolli installed, you can move onto the next step!
2. Shop Online
Like other browser extensions, Lolli only works with select partners. When you shop online at one of the 10,000+ partner brands, the Lolli icon will light up on the top corner of your browser.
You will also see a pop-up under the icon with a percentage amount of how much Bitcoin you can earn for shopping with that particular brand.
Click on the “Activate” button to automatically earn your Bitcoin when you complete your purchase at the checkout. Bitcoin deposits into your Lolli account wallet which you can redeem later.
Percentages of earnings vary from as little as 1.5% up to 30% in Bitcoin right back into your wallet according to Lolli.
Most high percentages are for new subscribers to brands or for joining specific bonus offers. For regular purchases, expect a lower range.
3. Earn Bitcoin For Shopping
When you complete a purchase at a partnered brand’s website, you receive an email a few days later confirming your Bitcoin earnings.
Keep in mind that you might not see the actual earnings in your account until 30-90 days after purchase, according to Lolli.
This is definitely a long time to wait for a small reward from shopping online up to 3 months ago. But Lolli needs to verify the purchase with their retail partners to ensure smooth transactions down the line.
This waiting period is also due in large part to the fact that returning an item after earning rewards will cause an issue in the system and you won’t earn rewards for that item.
Once you actually receive Bitcoin, you can check your earnings in your Lolli wallet.
Once you reach $15 worth of Bitcoin, you can transfer your Bitcoin to other wallets or exchanges as you see fit.
You can also withdraw to a U.S. bank account, but this honestly defeats the point of this platform and you'd be better off using Rakuten if you want cash.
We'll get into some transaction questions later on in this Lolli app review, so stay tuned!
What Lolli Stores Are There?
As previously mentioned, Lolli works with over 1,000 partnered online stores to help you earn up to 30% back in the form of Bitcoin.
Here are a few popular brands that work with Lolli:
- Gap.
- Groupon.
- Casper.
- Safeway.
- Postmates.
- Toms.
- Old Navy.
- Sephora.
- Petco.
- Chewy.
- Best Buy.
- Nike.
- Harry’s.
- VRBO.
There are plenty of other brands that you can shop at and earn. The best way to know if the store you're shopping at is eligible is to keep an eye out for the glowing icon on the top corner of your browser.
The icon only lights up and shows a pop-up if the website you’re on has a partnership with Lolli.
Plus, Lolli now works on Amazon as well. When the extension is active, you can click on a product page, and Lolli will tell you where else you can buy it to earn as much free BTC as possible.
Finally, you can also use Lolli's shop section to choose partners to shop at directly.
Is Lolli Legit?
Lolli is a legit browser extension that pays you with free Bitcoin for shopping at its partners. I've been able to earn about $13 worth of free BTC from Lolli, and the extension is easy to download and use.
And if you look at other Lolli reviews on Reddit or different online forums, there's reviews from real users who have cashed out through Lolli with Bitcoin after shopping online.
However, there's also reports from users about missing Bitcoin or some purchases not actually qualifying for rewards:
This is the unfortunate world of cashback portals, and even popular websites sometimes don't credit 100% of transactions.
So, I think Lolli is legit and you can earn free Bitcoin for shopping online. However, don't expect a flawless browser extension.
How Much Does Lolli Pay?
So how much can you really earn with the Lolli extension? Is it possible to actually earn Bitcoin for shopping?
Well… that depends on how often you shop online and if Lolli is your main browser extension for saving money.
Aside from just shopping online, there is also another way to earn Bitcoin, and that is by referrals. You earn $10 for every friend you refer to Lolli, and your friend earns a $10 sign up bonus as well.
The percentages of Bitcoin earnings is also pretty high as well when you compare Lolli to various cashback websites.
Therefore, if you shop a lot and prefer Bitcoin rather than cash, then Lolli could earn you a decent amount.
A few sources mention earnings between $20-$30 a year while some have accumulated hundreds. The $20-$30 range makes more sense for an average online shopper who only uses Lolli as their extension to save them money.
Then again, you can make that money almost immediately by referring 2-3 friends to use the platform. It really depends on how much you prioritize the app for your online shopping needs and how much you shop in general.
Troubleshooting Transfers with Lolli
Transfering your Bitcoin to a personal wallet has seemed to be troublesome since a few people had to wait a while to receive any confirmation of the transaction.
As you can see from this Lolli review on Reddit, it seems like the verification process and getting your Bitcoin can be a bit of a headache:
Hopefully those issues have been improved. Also keep in mind that transfers cost $0.25 for USD conversion, but Bitcoin transfers are completely free.
If you’re okay with waiting 30-90 days to receive your rewards and potentially having to email the company in case of any flaws, then Lolli can be a great way for you to earn Bitcoin.
However, it's clear that Lolli has some work to do and this platform is not as established as some long-term players in the cashback space.
Lolli Pros and Cons
Here is a small list of pros and cons to help you understand if Lolli is worth adding to your browser:
Pros
If you want to use Bitcoin and shop online, here are some of the main perks of using Lolli:
- Safe way to earn Bitcoin.
- Effortless rewards while shopping.
- Free transfers to any Bitcoin wallet.
- Partnered with 500+ brands.
- High percentage earnings.
Cons
If Bitcoin isn't for you or you're still on the fence, consider these cons as well:
- $0.25 transaction fee to $USD banks.
- Trouble with contacting support team.
- Long waiting period to earn rewards.
- Minimum of $15 to cash out.
Either way, the company is young and early in the process with lots of room to improve. If you're not interested now, at least keep an eye on developments to see what Lolli offers in the future.
The Best Lolli Alternatives
If you like the idea of earning rewards for shopping or free Bitcoin, here are some other extensions like Lolli.
Note, not all of these companies pay out in Bitcoin. However, you can still earn cash or save more money with them, which you can then use to buy crypto.
Some Lolli alternatives include:
- Pei app – A passive cashback app that pays you cash or free Bitcoin for shopping.
- Capital One Shopping – Apply available coupon codes when you shop at 30,000+ stores.
- Rakuten – My favorite cashback website that works with thousands of stores.
- Drop – My favorite rewards app that pays you with free gift cards after you link your bank account and shop online.
- Honey – Another popular browser extension that applies coupon codes and lets you earn free gift cards.
Pei is definitely the most similar extension like Lolli.
In fact, the company recently it's own online shopping portal where you can earn cash-back rewards in Bitcoin or real cash, so it's pretty close to Lolli.
If you want Bitcoin, I'd compare the shopping offers on Pei and Lolli to find the highest percent reward possible. In contrast, if you just want cash back and the most retailer variety possible, your best option is Rakuten.
Hopefully, a mix of these extensions and reward apps can help you keep more money in your pocket and earn some free rewards!

What Makes Lolli Unique?
At the end of the day, there are plenty of browser extensions that pay you to shop.
But, very few offer Bitcoin as a form of cash back. Additionally, most aren't growing at the rate Lolli is.
This company has made massive strides since starting out, and we're already seeing Fortune 500 companies and other large companies partner with the platform.
The bottom line is that if you want to earn BTC for shopping online, you should try Lolli.
I still suggest experimenting with other extensions to maximize your savings, but I'm excited to see what the future holds for Lolli.
Frequently Asked Questions
If you still have any concerns about how to use Lolli, hopefully these FAQs can help you out…
1. How Do You Cash Out?
After the 30-90 day waiting period has passed, you can withdraw your earnings with a minimum of $15 to your USD bank account or Bitcoin address.
Note, there is a $0.25 fee for USD bank account transfers. Bitcoin address transfers are free.
Again, I recommend using Coinbase for your Bitcoin wallet since it's free, super simple, and a leading cryptocurrency exchange.
2. Where is Lolli Available?
Lolli is currently only available in the U.S. with mentions of expanding to Canada and the UK in the near future.
3. Is Lolli Safe?
Lolli is safe in that they state their wallet is secure and you have nothing to worry about. Lolli also states that they are not liable for any security of transactions or transfers from wallets that are not Lolli’s.
But in reality, due to some transaction issues, you Bitcoin really aren't yours until you cash out and successfully move them to your own wallet.
For this reason, it's a good idea to regularly cash out rather than hold mass amounts of Bitcoin in your Lolli wallet.
4. What Browsers Support Lolli?
Lolli currently supports Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox with a mobile app that is in the works. These are the only 2 browsers available to use Lolli.
5. Does Lolli Work With Amazon?
Lolli doesn't let you earn Bitcoin cash back for shopping at Amazon. But it alerts you to alternative merchants you can shop at for Amazon products to earn as much BTC as possible.
6. How Does Lolli Make Money?
Like other cash back platforms, Lolli gets a referral comission from the company you shop at in exchange for pushing you to that merchant.
To pay users, Lolli takes a portion of its revenue and gives it to users in the form of cash back.
This is the same model other popular extensions use, and Lolli is 100% free to use; no hidden fees or membership costs to worry about.
Final Thoughts
Is Lolli actually worth adding to your browser extension? Or is there a better money saving browser extension on the market?
Here are my thoughts…
There are definitely better browser extensions to help you save money such as Honey and Rakuten which let you save money when shopping online by either giving cash back or applying coupon codes at checkout.
Similarly, companies like Capital One Shopping let you save money with coupons and work with thousands of stores.
But if you want to earn Bitcoin for shopping, give Lolli a try!
It's free, legit, and the company is growing fast. If you don't like using Lolli, you can always switch back to a more traditional cash-back browser extension the next time you shop online.
Hopefully this Lolli review helped you understand if Lolli is the right browser extension for you to make the most out of your earnings.
