The Savvy Sampler isn't a scam. It's a company that simply shares freebies and giveaways that are going on to help its readers save more money.

However, when trying the website for this review, I found that many giveaways had ended. So, the website doesn't always have the most up-to-date info about various freebies.

Additionally, some online reviews complain that they paid for certain products and never received them. Others complain that they entered their credit card information to receive a free trial but ended up getting charged.

Granted, most of the freebies listed don't require making a purchase and are fairly harmless, such as free appetizers from restaurants. The only information needed to sign up is typically a name, email, address and occasionally a phone number.

That said, you have to read terms and conditions carefully if you want to claim a freebie. And I'd be careful with entering your credit card information or paying for anything since The Savvy Sampler isn't the company the fulfills freebies and can't help you if you get scammed.
