Solitaire Master is legit and has a 4.9 star rating with over 20,000 reviews. It's one of the most popular cash game apps in the card game category, and it lets players compete to earn real money.

If you've used apps like Solitaire Cash or Solitaire Smash before, this app is up your alley. However, it caters to players who want to deposit money to compete in tournaments. If you're not interested in paying to play, various no-deposit money games are better choices.

What Is Solitaire Master & What Does It Offer?

Solitaire Master is developed by JoyBox Studio Limited. We’re telling you that because there are several other “Solitaire Master” apps on the Apple store. But this review is focusing on Solitaire Master: Win Cash, a popular iPhone money game.

Anyways, Solitaire Master lets you play competitive Solitaire games against other players to win cash prizes.

The gameplay is like regular Solitaire. However, everyone in a tournament has an identical deck, so it's completely skill-based. You earn points as you work through your deck, and the top three players in a tournament win a share of the cash prize pool.

That's all there is to it. If you've used other paid to play apps like Bingo Cash or Blitz Win Cash, then this app is going to be extremely easy to get started with.

How Do Cash Games Work?

You have to deposit money to compete in cash tournaments with Solitaire Master. But one nice part is all the bonus cash you can get as a new player.

We were actually quite shocked by the 7-day bonus streaks that are awarded for signing up:

• Day 2: $1.00
• Day 3: $0.30 (again)
• Day 4: $1.00 (once more)
• Day 5: $2.00
• Day 6: $1:00
• Day 7: $3.00 (woot woot)

These bonuses are a lot better than bonuses you get on most cash games, which mostly hand out free diamonds or gems to play lowball cash games for prizes under $1.

But here’s the thing: unlike those other apps, games on Solitaire Master aren't cheap. The cheapest tournament we could enter when testing the app cost $3 to buy into.

Solitaire Master prompted us to play and put some skin in the game. We declined, hoping to poke around and find more free games…sort of like sitting at the penny slots in the casino so you can score free drinks all night. 

Wow! Solitaire Master instantly hit us with $5 free bonus cash as a welcome bonus. All right, we’re game. Let’s play!

I ended up putting $5 into a tournament game that had a $35 pot and won second place. Solitaire Master paid me $8 in total, so I was up $3 in my first game. Then, I paid $3 to enter another game and won $7.

It’s impossible to say whether or not we lured in with some “hot action” so that we’d waste away the next 30 minutes playing solitaire and chasing our earlier wins. And I can't cash out quite yet since bonus cash isn't eligible for withdrawal, which I'll talk about later.

I'll update this Solitaire Master review if I can cash out. But overall, it's clear that this is a higher-stakes Solitaire game than a lot of similar apps. It definitely encourages players to deposit money to play. But if you're an experienced Solitaire player, it could be a nice side hustle app to try out.

Earning Potential – How Much Does Solitaire Master Pay?

Solitaire Master games are more expensive than other apps, and the are fewer choices for tournaments. For example, we had $3, $5, $7, and $10 buy-ins for our available tournaments.

In contrast, a lot of similar apps have free games you can enter to gradually earn points you use for cash games. But Solitaire Master is really a pay-to-play app.

That said, some of the tournaments pay $10 to $40+ to winners, making it one of the highest paying apps in its category. Also, while similar apps offer free games and in-app points like gems or diamonds, you realistically need to deposit money with these apps anyway to enter worthwhile games.

There also seems to be fewer players on Solitaire Master, which means easier chances of winning (or so we think). After trying out lots of Solitaire apps, we’ve gotten decent at some basic Solitaire strategies. With your head screwed on the right way, it might not be so hard to win a few bucks on Solitaire Master, compared to the slow grind of other Solitaire apps.

That said, this app definitely isn't an online job or stable source of income. And you can lose more money than you make if you don't do well in tournaments.

Also note that you need $15 to cash out to PayPal, which is the only cash-out method. You can't withdraw bonus cash either. So, that $5 bonus we got when signing up is only useful for entering more games and can't be cashed out if you make it to $15.

The Best Apps Like Solitaire Master

We think Solitaire Master is worth checking out if you enjoy cash card games. But there are plenty of other apps you can use, some of which have lower tournament buy-in requirements or free games as well:

This is probably the main drawback we found with Solitaire Master: there's only real customer support for “VIP” customers who have made a deposit.

If you haven’t, there’s only an FAQ section. One potential workaround is to contact the developer directly via email at [email protected]. Unfortunately, other than that, you have to pay if you want access to the 24/7 help they advertise in the VIP section.

Final Thoughts

We were actually pretty satisfied with our Solitaire Master review. We’ve played a lot of different Solitaire money games, and this one seems like it actually might provide a chance to win some side dough.

However, there are some drawbacks. One is that it’s hard to find on the App Store. Another is that customer service is only available if you make deposits.

Granted, there were a lot of other things we appreciated about this app, like its high payouts. Overall, we suggest downloading it and giving it a try, especially with the bonus cash amounts they offer, which can get you started.
