Yes, Flash Rewards is legit, and it pays users who complete enough deals and follow all the rules. However, the site is highly misleading and we don't recommend it as a side hustle.
Completing deals involves so much time and following steps perfectly. This means many users don't actually get paid if they make one small mistake. In my opinion, Flash Rewards isn't worth using, and it's a bit of a scam since it takes advantage of people by making it very easy to mess up on deals so you don't get paid.
Plus, you have to pay to complete some of the higher-tier deals. Again, this is a massive red flag for any side hustle. So, while it promises lucrative rewards, know that there are plenty of higher paying apps and legit online side hustles you can use.

Flash Rewards is a rewards website that pays you with free gift cards and PayPal money for performing various tasks.
Their website promises that users will” get rewarded in a flash”. To earn rewards, you complete tasks like playing games, downloading apps, or spending money on various products and services.
The platform is best-known for very enticing offers, like $100 in free Amazon gift cards or the super popular free $750 Shein gift card, the $750 PayPal reward, and $750 Cash App offers.
Note that FlashRewards.co is a UK-based company that's also available in North America and Australia and shouldn't be confused with the app Flash Rewards, which pays you for playing mobile games.
How Does Flash Rewards Work?
I signed up for Flash Rewards to find out how the site works. Overall, it works in three steps:
- Sign up and select your reward
- Complete sponsored deals
- Submit deals and get paid
1. Sign Up
Signing up for Flash Rewards is easy. Here’s what you need to get started:
- Visit Flash Rewards and complete your information including name, email and more.
- Complete the quick survey that helps the website recommend different deals and options for you.
- Decide on the level of gift card you're going to work towards since different reward tiers have different requirements.
Also note that Flash Rewards is available in a few countries, including The UK, United States, and Canada.
In the United States, you need to be a resident and 18 years of age or older in order to sign up for a Flash Rewards account. A valid government identification is also required to redeem rewards since you have to verify your identity to cash out.
2. Complete Sponsored Deals

Once FlashRewards.co reviews your submission, it emails you a form you complete to get your prize. This form requires verifying your identity by submitting a picture of your driver's license or other form of government ID.
The fact you have to provide these sensitive documents is one downside of FlashRewards.co. And, as mentioned, documenting your deal completions is super important. If Flash Rewards asks for proof you completed a deal and you can't provide it, you're not getting paid.

I also found that Flash Rewards was quite confusing to use. And I think it's misleading about how much money you can realistically make.

In my opinion, a truly free reward shouldn’t cost you anything other than your time.
And I'm personally uncomfortable making the multiple commitments required to achieve a goal since I don't want to get any sneaky recurring charges. However, it might be worth it to you if these are services you were going to try anyway.

After testing out Flash Rewards, I think the platform is legit but not worth using. And I think the many negative reviews and how complex tasks are reinforces this claim.
But one of the best ways to tell if a reward app or website is worth it is to see what other real users are saying.
For starters, Flash Rewards has a 3.6 star rating on Trustpilot. But if you look at the positive reviews, they seem like they're written by bots and don't give much info. In comparison, the negative FlashRewards.co reviews have a lot of detail and call the website a scam.

Yes, Flash Rewards is safe, and you can sign up for free and earn rewards with this website. However, you have to be comfortable with sharing your personal data and spending money on offers to complete some of the more lucrative deals, which is a massive downside.
Its own Facebook Page admits there have been problems with scammers. Flash Rewards also reminds users on social media that their business operates in multiple countries wherein the validity of the deals varies.
Final Thoughts
Does Flash Rewards work? Sort of. When I tried Flash Rewards, I admit I gave up after a short period of time. The rewards seemed out of reach and many of the offers you have to complete to receive a reward of value require that you spend money.
I am hesitant of any website that wants you to make a purchase or requires you to register for free trials (that can later charge you) in order to receive something free. If you’re spending money, that “free” reward ends up costing you.
In my opinion, your money could be better spent investing in equipment for a side hustle such as writing articles online or delivering for DoorDash.
Plus, the amount of steps to achieve rewards with this site seems too high to make it worthwhile. This is especially the case since you are required to keep documentation and screenshots proving that you completed various tasks.
