Bingo apps are a dime a dozen these days, promising fun competition and prizes. And if you're a Bingo fan, you may be wondering if these apps are real and if you can really win anything.
On paper, the whole idea sounds pretty cool: all you have to do is play and win Bingo matches to make some quick money.
Apps like Bingo Day are a prime example of this type of app. It says you can play classic Bingo games to win virtual cash that you exchange for exciting prizes like free iPhones and PayPal cash.
But is Bingo Day legit? And can you actually cash out this virtual cash for real rewards?
I downloaded and tested out the Bingo Day app to find out. And in this review, I'm sharing how the app works, its earning potential, and how to decide if it's worth using.

What is Bingo Day?
Bingo Day is a free Bingo cash gaming app available for both Android and iOS devices. It lets you play classic Bingo games in exchange for virtual currency that you can exchange for a variety of prizes.
If you've used gpt apps like Bingo Cash, Bingo Bling, or Bingo Clash before, then Bingo Day is going to feel very familiar.
The entire appeal of this app is that you can earn free money and prizes for playing games on your smartphone. And with over 5 million downloads, it's clear that a lot of people have given Bingo Day a try.
But as I'll explain in this review, the app is way too good to be true. And after downloading and testing out the app, I think it's a total waste of time and not an effective side hustle at all.
Is Bingo Day Legit?
No, Bingo Day isn't a legit app. I tested out the app, and it was very aggressive with pop-up ads and confusing to use. And you can't even redeem your virtual cash for any real prizes.
Sure, the app is colorful and visually appealing. I was able to play bingo. However, did I win any prizes or make any money? Not even close. And you can't redeem your cash for anything, making this app a waste of time.
Plus, the fact that there is really no explanation to earning money on Bingo Day or any real information online on how to cash out makes me have some hesitation with this app.
There are so many ways to make money online that are legit, and plenty of instant money-making apps out there, so don't waste your time with Bingo Day.
How Does The Bingo Day App Work?
Bingo Day is free to download and to play, and offers additional in app purchases. I downloaded it and spent about 15 minutes playing the app, and in that time, I was pretty confused and frustrated by the app.
Here's how Bingo Day works, and what some of your better alternatives are.
1. Download & Sign Up
To play Bingo Day, just download the app. No sign up is necessary, and after a sample game where the app shows you how to play, you can play additional games as long as you have earned purchased points.
The app honestly makes my phone lag which is pretty strange, but overall, it just takes a few minutes to get started with the app.
2. Play Bingo Games & Collect Cash
In this game, you can play bingo for cash. However the point system is confusing and unclear and even after playing a few games, I don't understand how this app works.
You start out by choosing how many Bingo cards you want to play with. Next, you start playing classic games of Bingo, checking off numbers as you draw them.
Occasionally, treasure chests appear on your Bingo cards, and you can tap them to earn bonus virtual cash or tickets, which you use to enter future games.
However, to “claim” a treasure chest, you have to watch a 30 second advertisement. This makes the app pretty laggy, and you can't exit out of the ad if you want the prize.
This is similar to other Android games for money like Bingo Smash and Words To Win; the entire point of the app seems to be to force you to watch ads without actually making any money.
Overall, the entire app is confusing and has very little there other than basic bingo and millions of super annoying ads.
3. Cash Out
I’m honestly not sure how to cash out on Bingo Day or even see it as an option. This app is so rudimentary, there are very few options to do anything in the app and I don’t even see a payout.
This is one massive problem with Bingo Day since it advertises that you can win rewards, but you can't even spend the virtual cash you earn on anything.
The help button just takes you to an over simple screen on how to play Bingo in general. When I click on pretty much anything else, I just get taken to various ads that I can't escape.
Watching all these ads would be worth it if you could redeem free PayPal money or gift cards, but the fact you can't redeem anything means this app is a waste of time.
Other Bingo Day App Reviews
I tested out Bingo Day and found the app was frustrating, confusing, and an awful way to try and make money. But it's also good to see what other users say about an app.
However, other Bingo Day reviews have common complaints about large amounts of ads, difficulty receiving payout, and difficulty in getting customer support. Here are a few reviews stating popular concerns:
By Who Where says: “Bingo Day is a scam. It claims to give money, but money never comes. I completed all things that I was supposed to do then they it says wait…I wait then again another week passes then you have something else to do. Money never comes just keeps adding different things to do wish I could add my screenshots I also emailed them on numerous occasions with no response.”
Jess B. says: “I knew that this was too good to be true, but had to try it just to make sure. To easy to hit the cash out limit, spend more time waiting for videos to finish then actually playing. Then have to watch 60 more within 24 hours. And then you never get your prize anyways It says to reach out to them if you don't receive it, but when I hit Contact US, it told me that I didn't have an option to email them. Even though I have 4 different types of emails on my phone.”
As you can see, reviews are quite negative, and other people also think Bingo Day is a scam.
In my opinion, there are way better phone side hustles and money-making ideas out there, so don't waste your time.
The Best Alternatives To Bingo Day
Between the negative reviews and negative user experience, making money on Bingo Day is not easy, if at all possible. And in my personal experience, the app is a complete waste of time.
However, there are plenty of other reward apps and beermoney sites you can use to make money that are better than Bingo Day:
- Branded Surveys: Share your opinion to earn PayPal cash and gift cards!
- Cash Giraffe: One of my favorite Android gaming apps to earn free gift cards and cash prizes.
- Swagbucks: A versatile site that pays you to complete surveys, install apps, shop online, and play trivia for money.
- Survey Junkie: Another leading survey site that lets you cash out at just $5.
- Pinecone Research: Get paid $3 for every single survey you complete with this research panel.
- Mistplay: A leading app that pays you for playing games that you can use to earn dozens of free gift cards.
- JustPlay: Another popular app like Mistplay that you can use to earn rewards.
My video also covers some more legit games that pay you with PayPal money that you can use instead of Bingo Day.
These apps won't make you rich, but they actually let you cash out and make money unlike Bingo Day. And they don't scam you and waste your time either.

Frequently Asked Questions
Bingo Day has a lot more questions than answers, and there’s also not a lot of information on it, which can be something to be wary of. Here are some of the commonly asked questions you might have.
Is Bingo Day A Scam?
Bingo Day seems like a scam after I spent some time testing it. The app is so excessively advertisement filled, that I was barely able to complete a couple of games. Many of the ads are impossible to exit from, having fake close boxes and taking you to other websites and apps that you don’t want to visit.
Due to all of the ads on this site, I honestly couldn’t play the game long enough to earn more than a couple hundred points, much less the enormous amounts required to actually receive a payout.
Is Bingo Day fake? I’m not sure. Despite trying, I don’t seem to find any official information for this Bingo Day review. Other than the app download page on Google Play, there doesn’t seem to be a website, terms and agreements or anything.
When I pulled up their publisher’s website, it’s only a one page website with nothing on it. This makes me worry that this site is less than legit.
Does Bingo Day Pay Real Cash?
I’m not sure. I played casually, and did not invest any of my own money. However, due to the enormous amount of ads on this app, I could barely even play the game, much less win or win enough to payout.
While I could not find an official source on payout levels, a few other websites mention needing a whopping $200 minimum before you can cash out on Bingo Day. This is considerably higher where you need $1,000 in winnings for an Amazon gift card. To cash out via PayPal, you will need to have $5000 in winnings.
Compared to most apps to make money, these payout rates are astronomical and not realistic for most players. The amount of ads you would have to view and amount of time it would take would not be a reasonable investment even with the high payout.
Many reviewers online also express frustration that once they have received payout, they have been required to complete additional steps like watching more ads. Even when they complete these steps, they still have not received payment.

Is Bingo Wonder Legit?
No, Bingo Wonder isn't legit. The app is very similar to apps like Bingo Day and Bingo Raider and makes it seem like you can win money by playing Bingo on your phone. But in reality, cashing out is basically impossible with this app.
There are also so many different phone side hustles out there that you can use that actually pay. So, don't waste your time with these fake apps to win real money.
Final Thoughts
While Bingo money apps are marketed as entertainment, the truth is that a lot of them don't work. There may be some free play available, but the odds of winning any real life prizes of any value is pretty miniscule.
These apps also keep encouraging you to upgrade with a paid entry fee for a chance to win bigger prizes. While some of the entry fees are small, so are the prizes.
Overall, the Bingo Day app seems like a scam and waste of time. It's confusing to use, and the high payout amounts seem virtually impossible to reach.
In addition to winning on Bingo Day, you are required to complete additional tasks like watching a large number of videos before you can claim your prize. Even then, many users report difficulty getting their payments. The additional tasks also require considerable more work than merely playing a game.
There are many legit apps that pay you to watch ads, or online side hustles you can try, that actually pay money.
Bingo Day isn't one of these apps and isn't legit. Hopefully, my review helps you steer clear so you don't waste your time.
