GrabPoints is a rewards website where you earn points for completing tasks like paid offers, watching ads, answering surveys for money, and other basic activities. With over 4 million users, this well known and highly rated website is known for reliable payments for your completion of tasks.

I've used GrabPoints in the past, and while it's a lesser-known rewards site, it definitely holds its own in this space.

If you've ever used beermoney sites like Swagbucks or Grindabuck before, GrabPoints will feel very familiar.

It lets you make quick money by completing various micro jobs, and it's completely free to sign up and use.

Is GrabPoints Legit?

Yes, Grabpoints is legit and pays you for completing surveys, watching videos, downloading apps and completing reviews. This site has several million members and lots of positive reviews who are pleased with their results on the website. There's also plenty of payment proof online that shows that this website pays.

I was able to sign up for GrabPoints and found that the site is easy to use as well.

Of course, you won't make $1,000 a day or anything even close to that with GrabPoints. But this is an effective way to earn money online as a beginner, and the company is legitimate.

How Does GrabPoints Work?

I signed up for GrabPoints to test out the platform and learn how it works for this review. Overall, GrabPoints is very easy to use and works in seven simple steps:

2. Answer paid surveys for money
3. Complete offers from the OfferWall
4. Watch videos and ads
5. Download apps
6. Refer friends
7. Cash out

Let's cover how each one of these steps works in a bit more detail.

Signing up for GrabPoints is easy. Create a free account on their website by entering your email and a password. Or as another option, you can connect your Facebook account and easily create an account.

You don't need to enter credit card information or pay whatsoever to create an account.

2. Answer Surveys

The main way to make money with GrabPoints is to answer paid surveys.

Companies want to learn more about what consumers think of their brands and surveys are a great way to do so!

These advertising agencies and corporations use sites like GrabPoints to help collect data and offer paid rewards like those that can be earned through the GrabPoints ads.

This means GrabPoints isn't the company actually running surveys. Rather, it works with research panels like Peanut Labs and Your Surveys to connect you to relevant surveys from these market research groups.

3. Complete Offers

Another way to earn with GrabPoints is to complete offers to earn money. This survey website pays you for completing offers like:

• Downloading and playing mobile games
• Requesting free samples
• Signing up for newsletters or new online services
• Installing apps
• Buying different products or subscriptions

These offers are similar to sites like Swagbucks and Kashkick, and some of the offers can be quite lucrative.

However, while some of these opportunities are easy and involve no commitment other than downloading and playing a game, others require registering for services that you may or may not really want and that may charge you for the service. 

4. Watch Videos

One of the easiest tasks on GrabPoints is to watch videos to earn small amounts of points.

These are videos that do include ads, and are typically on interesting topics. When I tried it out, I had the opportunity to watch lots of recipe and craft videos.

While watching these videos and their included ads is super easy, it is one of the lowest paid tasks, with most video views only rewarding you a fraction of a cent for your view.

This is an easy passive income idea, but again, you don't earn much for every ad you view. But you can use it to make money on autopilot, and it's useful if you're close to cashing out.

5. Download Apps

As mentioned, GrabPoints also pays you for downloading different apps and trying them out.

This is similar to gaming reward platforms like Mistplay and Cash Giraffe. And if you're already a fan of mobile games, it's a useful GrabPoints feature to make use of.

These offers don't usually require paying money. However, it can take days or weeks to complete the in-app achievements that make you eligible for earning rewards, so keep these requirements in mind.

6. Invite Your Friends

With the GrabPoints referral program, you can invite people to join the website and earn a referral incentive of 500 points, which is equivalent to 50 cents.

GrabPoints Reward Options & How To Cash Out

One advantage of using GrabPoints is that there are several reward options you can cash out points for:

• Free PayPal cash
• Xbox codes
• Free steam codes
• Hundreds of free gift cards to companies like Amazon, Robux, and Walmart
• Free Google Play credit
• Subscriptions to companies like Spotify

PayPal rewards start at just $5 which is a pretty low cash out requirement. And many gift cards start from $5 to $10 as well, so you can realistically get a reward in a day or several days of work.

How Much Are GrabPoints Worth?

It takes 1,000 GrabPoints to equal one dollar. While the conversion rate from points to payment on some websites and apps can sometimes be confusing, I found that GrabPoints is pretty easy to understand and straightforward. 

The payout threshold for Grabpoints is also much lower than sites like InboxDollars and makes it easier to claim your rewards quickly. 

How Much Does GrabPoints Pay?

The amount you get paid for completing different activities on GrabPoints varies depending on task difficulty and length. Ultimately, you can probably earn a few dollars per hour with this website, so don't expect to quit your day job anytime soon.

Watching videos with ads seems to be the lowest paying and completing surveys and offers seem to be the highest paid tasks.

Surveys on GrabPoints are done through several different survey providers, some of these pay higher than others.

In my first few hours testing GrabPoints, I was told I had 930 surveys available. Most surveys only paid $0.25 and the highest paying survey paid $11.91. GrabPoints does indicate the longer you are on their site and the more you participate, the better offers you will receive.

Some of the offers also pay well. But the best paying offers tend to involve a financial commitment such as making a purchase or at least doing a trial offer for which you will need to cancel or you will be charged later.

Be sure you read all the details before completing to make sure that you are informed on all the details.

Pros & Cons

Pros:

• Low minimum payouts – With a low minimum payouts starting at $5, you can cash out quickly and often from GrabPoints. 
• Quick payments – GrabPoints is known for quick payment, and paying out much quicker than some of their competitors. Typically, you get rewards within two days after cashing out. 
• Mobile Friendly – GrabPoints' website is mobile-friendly, and it also has a free survey app you can download if you want an easy phone side hustle.
• Reward variety – Between the PayPal money rewards and wide variety of gift cards, you have plenty of options for cashing out.

Cons:

• Lots of emails – After joining GrabPoints my email account was immediately flooded with emails on various opportunities. While this is good for making money, it can also be overwhelming. Consider using a separate email account to use for this survey website.
• Low referral incentives – Where many websites offer a reward incentive to encourage you to convince your friends and family members to join the website, GrabPoints has a low referral incentive.
• Lower qualification rates – Users report that it's sometimes difficult to qualify for surveys on GrabPoints because their qualifications are high. Users report that about 30% of individuals do not qualify for different surveys. 

This last con is a real downside.

Surveys ask qualification questions, and you can be eliminated depending on your answers. I was eliminated for a survey because I didn’t properly answer what type of superhero I would like to be. (What is the correct answer for this question by the way?).

I was also eliminated from another survey because I had not purchased Adidas shoes in the last 2 months and a third because of my age and race.

Other GrabPoints Reviews

I tested out GrabPoints for a while to learn how the platform works and to see how much money I could make. But another great way to tell if it's legit is to see what other users have to say.

In this GrabPoints review, YouTuber and survey expert Paid From Surveys covers how the platform works and his feelings on the platform.

He points out how he earned $5 very quickly with GrabPoints. But he also highlights how he had to verify his PayPal account and identity before cashing out, which isn't great news.

It only took two days to get paid by GrabPoints, which is fast and great news. But again, don't expect to make hundreds of dollars with this site.

GrabPoints is a leader in the get-paid-to space, but it's far from your only option. And some sites can pay slightly more or have lower cash out requirements.

Final Thoughts

I spent about half a day exploring GrabPoints for the purpose of this GrabPoints review. You can definitely make money online with this side hustle, and payments tend to range higher than other similar reward websites. That being said, GrabPoints won’t make you rich either.

Completing tasks on GrabPoints won’t pay your mortgage or replace your day job. However it is a free program where you can earn money online in your spare time.

My husband and I have been doing surveys for years in the evenings when we watch TV, or when waiting places such as at school pick up. It's a great way to pass the time and earn a little bit of extra income too. The gift cards and earnings can add up and help pay for some extras you may not normally be able to afford.

When you are looking for a side hustle to make extra money, only you can decide what opportunities are worth it for you. I recommend giving different apps and gigs a chance, and then choosing a few favorites to earn from regularly.
