9 Best Ways To Get $200 Dollars Free PayPal Money
As one of the most popular payment processing systems in the world, having PayPal cash can be extremely useful. It lets you transact easily online, send money to friends and family, and it's also an excellent way to make extra money.
In fact, I've been using PayPal for years and actually receive a large percentage of my monthly income through the platform.
So today, I'm covering some tactics you can use to earn $200 in free PayPal cash, or even more if you play your cards right.
Free PayPal cash is pretty much as good as regular cash. And I've personally used all of the methods I'm about to cover, so I know they're legit.
How To Make $200 Dollars In Free PayPal Cash
There are plenty of ways to make money online these days. And the great news is that many methods offer PayPal payments as an option, not just gift card rewards or other payments.
I've been testing out new ways to get free PayPal cash for years. A some of the following ideas also have a much higher income potential than just $200 dollars.
Hopefully, one or more of these ideas help you boost that PayPal balance to reach your goals.
1. Freelance & Accept PayPal Payments
One of the main ways I've gotten paid with PayPal over the years has been through online freelancing. And if you're okay with the idea of trading your time for money, you can certainly get $200 dollars in PayPal money or much more through this method.
At the end of the day, PayPal is just a payment processor. So, if you can sell you skills online, nothing stops you from accepting cash to your account.
When I quit my job in 2020 and moved to Colombia, I began making all my income through blogging and freelance writing.
At the start, I was only making about $0.05 to $0.07 per word. But after about a year, I could easily make $200+ an article with some of my higher-paying clients.
Eventually, I was receiving PayPal payments on a regular weekly basis from a roster of clients. And it didn't take too long before my writing income outpaced my old day job's income.
Writing is only one example of a way to make free PayPal cash. Some other popular freelancing skills include:
- Coding
- Graphic design
- Digital marketing and social media management
- SEO
- Web development
- Video editing
- Virtual assistant work
The only downside to this method is that PayPal fees can eat into your profits a bit. But it's one of the most realistic ways to make $200 dollars in PayPal money, and the income potential is immensely high.
2. Use Get-Paid-To Websites
Another option you can use to earn a free $200 of PayPal cash is to use get-paid-to websites that offer PayPal cash as a reward.
I've been using GPT sites since my days in college, and I've cashed out with plenty of them dozens of times over the years. And if you want an easy, online side hustle, they're a perfect place to start.
Usually, GPT sites pay you for completing tasks like paid surveys, downloading apps, playing games, and watching ads.
It's pretty mindless work, but you can use them while you watch TV or in your spare time to make a bit of extra cash.
Some of my favorite GPT sites that I've cashed out with include:
- Branded Surveys: A popular gpt platform that offers PayPal cash and gift card rewards. Read our Branded Surveys review for all the details!
- Kashkick: A newer gpt website that lets you cash out with PayPal after earning $10.
- Survey Junkie: Another leading survey site that offers PayPal payments starting at only $5.
- Swagbucks: This rewards platform pays you for answering surveys, watching ads, shopping, downloading apps, and more!
- InboxDollars: A similar U.S. site to Swagbucks that also has an instant $5 sign up bonus.
I also made a YouTube video that covers some of my favorite GPT and survey sites you can use to get free PayPal cash.
These sorts of sites aren't going to let you quit your day job. But making $200 of free PayPal money is possible if you gradually chip away at surveys and other offers in your spare time.
I also like that you can earn some easy passive income with GPT sites that offer video ad rewards, since you can just play these in the background while you use your computer to earn points.
3. Test Websites For Money
Do you have a high level of attention to detail? If so, another way to make $200 of PayPal cash is to test websites and apps for money.
Website testing gigs are a very common, free online job you can try out. The general idea is that you test websites and apps that are in development, provide some feedback, and get paid for your time.
Most websites only pay $10 to $20 PayPal cash per test. But testing sessions are short, and pretty much all user-testing gigs offer PayPal cash as a reward.
Some of the best user testing websites include:
- PlaytestCloud: Test apps and games that are in development in short testing sessions.
- TryMyUI: Another popular user-testing gig that pays $10 per test you complete.
- UserTesting: This platform also pays you $10 for every successful test.
- UserCrowd: Complete short tests that pay $0.20 to $1 per test.
Again, these sites don't pay $200 dollars of PayPal money in one sitting, so you need a lot of testing sessions to work up to this amount.
Additionally, tests can be few and far between, so it's a good idea to sign up for a few platforms to maximize the number of tests you get invitations for.

4. Play Games For PayPal Cash
If you enjoy gaming, one way to get $200 in PayPal cash or even more is to use a variety of legit cash gaming apps.
While it might surprise you, there are plenty of ways to play games for PayPal money. And I've been using these sorts of gaming apps for years to make money since I was in college.
Some of the most popular gaming apps with PayPal rewards include:
- Cash Giraffe: A free Android app that lets you cash out via PayPal at just $0.20!
- Mistplay: One of the most popular Android gaming apps with gift card and PayPal prizes.
- Rewarded Play: A leading app like Mistplay with a low $5 cash out minimum.
- Money Well: One more Android gaming app with PayPal money rewards.
My YouTube video shares a few more paid gaming apps you can use as well.
Granted, it might take some time to grind out $200 in PayPal cash. But if you already spend time gaming each week, this is one fun side hustle idea to consider.

5. Use Cash-Back Reward Apps
If you do most of the shopping in your household, another idea to make $200 dollars of free PayPal cash is to use various cash-back reward apps that pay you for shopping at certain retailers.
Like GPT sites, I've been using these sorts of apps to earn free PayPal cash ever since my days in college.
And even though these apps don't pay a lot, it's free cash back at the end of the day and more money in your wallet.
Some of my favorite cash back apps and websites include:
- Rakuten: A leading shopping extension that pays you with PayPal cash back at thousands of brands. I've earned over $1,200 from Rakuten personally, so I know it's legit and that it pays out on time.
- Pogo: This app pays you automatically every time you shop with small amounts of cash back in exchange for sharing your data.
- Dosh: Automatically earn small amounts of PayPal cash every time you shop with a connected card, and cash out once you earn $25.
Earning $200 in free PayPal money would take a long time with this method, although I've earned more than this amount just by using Rakuten.
Plus, these apps and sites are paying you to shop, which is like earning free money if you're getting paid to purchase something you normally buy anyway.

6. Sell Stuff You Don't Need
Has it been a while since you've done a bit of Spring cleaning? If so, you can potentially make $200 of PayPal cash or much more by selling your unused stuff.
As I mentioned, PayPal is just a payment processor at the end of the day. So, you can potentially sell stuff you don't need anymore to people in your area and just accept payment through apps like PayPal or Cash App.
Local selling websites like Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist are great places to start. Both platforms help you find local buyers for almost anything you can think of, and you can choose to deal in cash or PayPal.
I've sold plenty of things like clothing, guitars, and furniture on Facebook Marketplace before. And while I prefer dealing in cash and suggest that to keep things simple, PayPal cash is an option.
Alternatively, you can use selling apps like Mercari or Poshmark since both these platforms support PayPal payments.
Mercari lets you sell just about anything, whereas Poshmark is mostly for selling clothing, watches, jewelry, and shoes. But either way, there are plenty of ways to sell stuff you don't use anymore to make a bit of extra cash.
My YouTube video above shares some of my favorite selling platforms, so hopefully one of them works well for you!

7. Try Micro Task Websites
If you're still wondering how to get $200 dollars of free PayPal cash, one option you can try is to work for various micro task websites.
Micro task websites pay you for completing short online tasks that computers can't automate. Examples of some common job you'll find include:
- Data entry
- Email correspondence
- Image categorization and AI training help
- Search engine evaluation
- Social media evaluation
This type of work is repetitive, but I've used it in the past to make money during college, and it does work.
You can use sites like Appen and Amazon MTurk to start out, although Amazon only offers gift card or direct deposit payments, not PayPal. Clickworker is also a popular micro job site you can try.
You're probably earning $5 to $10 at most with these platforms, so it's not a great long-term side hustle. But it's an easy way to begin making money online and to get paid with PayPal.
8. Invite Your Friends To PayPal
If there's one thing I love about making money online, it's finding ways to earn free money. After all, who doesn't love a nice sign-up bonus or freebie once in a while?
And the good news is that you can also leverage sign-up bonuses on your quest to get $200 in free PayPal cash.
Right now, PayPal USA has a $10 referral bonus that pays you and a friend $10 each when you invite them to create an account and they spend at least $5.
You can only earn up to $100 in PayPal cash with this referral program. But it's a nice bonus since it pays both you and your friend the $10, so everyone wins.

9. Start A Blog
One final idea you can use to get $200 dollars free PayPal money is to start and monetize a blog.
This is something I've personally done, and it's actually my largest income stream to date. In fact, WebMonkey pays me regularly through PayPal, and blogging is basically my full-time job at this point.
What I like about blogging is that there are plenty of ways to make money.
For example, WebMonkey earns money through Mediavine ads and affiliate marketing. And Mediavine ads alone make about $500 a day, and this is largely autopilot income at this point.
Other bloggers I know also make money with revenue streams like coaching, selling courses, or even selling physical or digital products.
And so many affiliate networks and ad networks offer PayPal payments. This lets you receive a steady stream of cash right to your account every week or month.
Of course, blogging isn't easy, and it can take months or years to establish an audience and to grow your traffic.
For me, it took four years to make $92,000 from blogging, but in my fifth year, WebMonkey made $272,000. This just goes to show how powerful this online business model can be!
