Five Surveys Review – Is It Legit Or A Scam? (Honest Look!)
Want to make a quick $5? If the answer is yes, then Five Surveys could be for you.
This new survey site pays you $5 every time you answer 5 surveys. And it's a legit platform that's quickly growing into a major player in the paid survey space.
I signed up for the website to learn how it works. And this Five Surveys review is covering everything you need to know to decide if it's worth using.
Quick Summary
- A free survey site that's available in the US, UK, Canada, Germany, and Australia
- Earn $1 per survey you answer and cash out ever 5 surveys
- Redeem your earnings for PayPal money, bank transfers, and free gift cards
- Works with computers, smartphones, and tablets
Is Five Surveys Legit?
Five Surveys is legit and lets you earn free gift cards and cash by completing surveys. And it has a 4.1 star rating on Trustpilot with over 100 reviews at the time of writing.
Additionally, while this is a new site, it's owned by the company that operates Prime Opinion. This is a massive survey platform that I've also tested and reviewed, so it's reassuring that the company behind Five Surveys is reputable.
What Is Five Surveys & How Does It Work?
Five Surveys is a free survey website that lets you share your opinion to make money. And what makes it unique is that it pays you $5 for every 5 surveys you complete, which works out to $1 per survey.
Signing up is free and you just need your email or to connect via Google. Once you verify your email address, you then answer a short demographic questionnaire to finish your profile.
This took me about 2 minutes to do. From there, you begin answering available surveys on your main dashboard to earn. Surveys have an estimated time limit, and every survey you complete brings you closer to the $5 cash out.
I'll admit, it's nice to see a cash survey platform that doesn't have super low-paying surveys. You always earn $1 per survey, which is slightly above average for this side hustle.
There's a nice progress bar at the top of your screen to track your progress towards cashing out. Once you're ready to redeem your earnings, you simply go to the “Transactions & Rewards” tab to pick your prize.
Overall, the user interface is super smooth and I found that completing surveys is easy too. And I like that surveys also have star ratings from other users so you know which surveys provide an easy experience.
Cashing Out & Rewards
You can cash out with Five Surveys after you answer 5 surveys. There's no point system or cash earnings to keep track of; just complete enough surveys and you always get your $5 reward.
PayPal money and bank transfers are available which I love. You can also redeem gift cards to companies like:
Gift card codes are sent to you electronically after a few days. And I like that you can earn quick cash with this site or a wide range of gift cards to treat yourself or someone you know.
Earning Potential
Five Surveys is one of the higher-paying survey sites out there since it pays you $1 per survey. A $5 cash-out minimum is also competitive in this space. I like that you don't have to wait forever to cash out and that there's no confusing point system to keep track of your earnings.
Overall, I think most people can easily make $5 to $50 a month with this site if they answer a survey or two every day.
Sure, Five Surveys isn't an online job or way to make a full-time income. But I think this is a top-tier survey platform that you should add to your arsenal if you enjoy these kinds of sites.
Pros & Cons
Pros:
- Simple cash-out system
- Earn $1 per survey you complete
- Wide range of rewards
- Very easy to use
- Works on all device types
Cons:
- There's no sign-up bonus
- Five Surveys is only available in a few countries
- There's no referral bonuses
Other Survey Sites To Try
I think Five Surveys is an exciting new entrant to the paid survey space. And I'll continue testing it out and cashing out with it since it's working well and is easy to use.
However, it's always good to mix in other gpt sites so you make as much as possible. Some of the other platforms I suggest using include:
Prime Opinion is where I'd start since it's owned by the same company as Five Surveys. I'd also use Branded Surveys if you live in the United States, Canada, or the UK since it's my current favorite and has an excellent loyalty program.
Who Can Sign Up?
You can sign up for Five Surveys if you live in the United States, Canada, UK, Australia, and Germany. The team is also working on adding new countries, and signing up is completely free.
Is There A Mobile App?
Five Surveys doesn't have a survey app. However, you can use any device type on the web version of the platform just by logging in. I tested this on my phone and the platform works well on mobile and is easy to use.

Is There Customer Support?
You can get in touch with customer support by using the contact page on Five Surveys' website. There's also a FAQ section with many answers to common questions people have about the platform.
Final Thoughts
I hope my Five Surveys review helps clarify how this new survey site works and what you should expect.
After testing it out, I think it's an easy way to earn money online. And I love the variety of rewards and fact you earn $1 per survey to keep things simple.
There are some higher-paying surveys out there. But I don't think you'll find as many sites that are as consistent and easy to use as this one.
