Earnweb Review – Is This Website Legit & Worth It?
If you’ve ever searched for easy ways to make money online, you’re probably familiar with get-paid-to (GPT) sites.
These sites pay you for completing a variety of short tasks. And they’re a flexible, fun side hustle you can use while relaxing at home.
Earnweb, a newer GPT site in this space, is the perfect example. It lets users earn gift cards, cash, crypto, and even free video games with a variety of offers.
But is Earnweb legit? And how much can you really make with this platform?
My Earnweb review is covering everything you need to know in order to get started and earn your first buck.
Let’s dive in.
What Is Earnweb?
Earnweb is a rewards website that lets you earn money by completing various tasks like answering surveys, playing games, downloading apps, and earning cashback from shopping online.
The website is owned by the same company that operates Gamehag, another nifty rewards website we’ve tested and reviewed here at WebMonkey.
According to its website, Earnweb has already paid out over $170,000 dollars and has over 240,000 users. And with a 4.4 star rating on Trustpilot, it’s one of the more highly-rated websites in the space.
Is Earnweb Legit?
Yes, Earnweb is legit and lets its members earn a variety of rewards by completing online tasks. The company also has plenty of positive reviews and online payment proof to show that it’s reputable.
Plus, Earnweb posts proof of real users cashing out live on their website. And after reviewing the site myself, I was able to cashout with PayPal for my first $1 after completing a few tasks, so I can confirm that it’s legitimate.
Ultimately, Earnweb won’t let you quit your day job or make $5,000 a month. But it’s a fun side hustle you can use to earn free cash, gift cards, and other rewards in your spare time.
Ways To Make Money With Earnweb
Getting started with this platform was incredibly easy. I was able to set up within 1 minute, and from there, the platform offers numerous ways to make money depending on what interests you:
- Play games
- Answer surveys
- Shop online
- Refer friends
- Redeem rewards
Let’s take a look at each of these steps in a bit more detail.
1. Sign Up
To sign up for Earnweb, head over to earnweb.com and select the “Create Account” button. From there, you can create a username and password or register with Google, Facebook, and even Steam.
Once that’s done, you have to confirm your email to activate your account. When I signed up, the activation email went to my spam folder, so double check that folder if you don’t see anything in your inbox.
As a member, you select a “goal” you want to work towards, which is the reward you cash out with. Earnweb displays your goal and your current progress towards cashing out right on your dashboard, and you can change your goal anytime if you decide to work towards a new reward.
2. Play Games
Playing games is one of the most popular ways to earn money on Earnweb. So, this is excellent news if you're a frequent gamer and want to earn some exciting rewards.
Under the “Tasks” section, there’s a sub-section labeled “Games” where you can access all your paid gaming tasks. Some of the games offered in my Earnweb account include:
- Raid: Shadow Legends
- World of Warships
- Scrabble Go
- Harvest Land
- Bubble Dragon Blast
- Block King Puzzle Game
- Bingo Lucky
As you can probably tell, there’s a wide variety of game genres from strategy to puzzle games and everything in between.
Games also have different tasks you have to complete to earn. For example, one of the games under my task list, World of Warships, pays me around $9 worth of coins to play the game and unlock a level two ship.
This is a pretty fun way to earn money by playing games. And Earnweb has a nice mixture of leading PC games and mobile games to suit any gaming preference.
3. Answer Surveys
As with most GPT websites, surveys are another way to earn coins and rewards with Earnweb.
Under the “Offerwalls & Surveys” section, you can find several third party offerwalls like OfferToro, RevU, and Adscend Media.
Within each of these offerwalls, there’s even more surveys and available tasks for you to complete. And many of the surveys you find pay anywhere from $0.25 to $1 or $2 worth of coins.
Overall, the survey rates are similar to rates you find with other gpt sites like Branded Surveys and Swagbucks. And I like that Earnweb has several offerwall partners so you can shuffle between them to find the highest-paying surveys.
4. Earn Cashback From Shopping Online
If you’re a frequent online shopper, then you might find this next feature quite useful!
Earnweb has a cashback system that pays you to shop at dozens of different brand partners. Some of these cashback partners include:
- Ali Express
- ShutterStock
- Eneba
- G2A
- Kinguin
- Alibaba
- Surf Shark
- Steelseries
You can find these partners under the “Tasks” sections where it says “Cashback”.
However, if you want more popular partners to shop through, you can usually find those through the offerwalls and by looking in their shopping section. There, you’ll find partners like Amazon, SiriusXM, Spotify, and more.
Most cashback offers pay somewhere between 5-10% cashback, with some reaching up to 30% off!
5. Refer Friends
One of my favorite aspects of Earnweb is its referral system that pays you with bonuses for inviting your friends to join.
Earnweb pays you 10% of your referral’s earnings for life, so this is a great way to earn some passive income. Plus, users who sign up with your reflink receive a 0.05 coin bonus and a $5 PayPal bonus. The $5 is withdrawable after collecting 16 Coins, which can be spent on something else.
This is a nice win-win referral bonus, which I love. And I’ve also worked together with the Earnweb team to have three more unique sign up bonuses for new users, that you can use to earn rewards:
- TOM$10PP: $10 PayPal code
- TOM$10AMZN: $10 Amazon gift card code
- TOM$50AMZN: $50 Amazon gift card code
And remember: you can invite your friends to join Earnweb as well once you sign up so you earn passive rewards as well.
To refer a friend on Earnweb, hover over the “Earn” tab at the top of the dashboard and select the “Referral System” button in the drop down menu.
6. Payout
As mentioned, you can track your progress towards your goal on the right side of Earnweb’s dashboard. Once you earn enough Coins for your reward, Earnweb sends you your reward via email or pays you directly to PayPal.
There are over 20 ways to cash out your rewards, including options like:
- Paypal
- Amazon
- Google Play Store credit
- Robux
- Crypto Vouchers
- Steam games and keys
- Uber
- Spotify
What’s really nice about Earnweb is that some rewards, like PayPal cash, start at $1, so you can cash out quickly. And many other rewards are available once you earn $5 and $10, so you’re not waiting around for weeks to cash out.
I like that there’s a variety of reward options, including plenty of free gift cards, crypto, and cash. And you can even redeem premium games on Steam which is rather unique.
How Much Does Earnweb Pay?
How much you make with Earnweb depends on the types of tasks you complete and how much effort you put in. Some tasks only pay a few pennies but are easy to complete, while others can pay $10 to $50 or even more but require a bit more work.
For example, many survey offers pay $0.25 to $1 or so. And you can also earn small amounts of passive income by watching videos with some of Earnweb’s partners. In contrast, some of the more involved gaming offers can pay $10 to $25 or much more.
Overall, how much you earn with Earnweb depends on how much effort you put in and the tasks you choose. However, Earnweb definitely lets you earn a lot versus many other reward websites out there, and I like that it has a wide range of tasks and many high-paying ones.
Pros & Cons
Pros:
- Easy sign up
- Tons of ways to earn
- Low cash out minimum
- Over 20 cashout options
- Modern and easy interface
- Good referral program & sign up bonus
- The platform keeps adding new offers and rewards
Cons:
- Some tasks require paying for services
- No mobile app
Other Earnweb Reviews
My favorite way to know whether or not a site is legit is by seeing what other users have to say about it online.
Thankfully, there are plenty of Earnweb reviews on websites like Trustpilot where people share their experience with the site:
- Allie Woods says: “So far so good. Timing for payout is fair. Earning is a little slow but it's legit”
- Sebastian says: “Honestly just a super great website to earn and really easy to use! Couldn’t be happier with them at the moment!!”
- Gareth says: “It's legit, I've only redeemed about 5 dollars so far but I'm earning more. Only complaint is that the surveys/games you do sometimes don't give you your points, which is super annoying, but it doesn't happen a lot.”
As you can see, Earnweb clearly pays its users. Most complaints are about taking a while to earn or taking a while to receive payment after cashing out. But overall, users seem happy with the platform and confirm they get paid.

After testing out Earnweb, I think it’s a legitimate and fun way to earn cash and other rewards in your spare time. And I really like its unique referral system and variety of rewards.

Final Thoughts

After chatting with Earnweb’s team and testing out the platform, I really enjoy the variety of earning options it has. And the fact that the team keeps adding offers and new rewards makes it even more enticing.
Of course, Earnweb isn’t a full-time online job. But if you want a fun side hustle with a variety of earning options, it’s worth trying out.
And remember: you can sign up for Earnweb and use some of the referral codes the team has given WebMonkey readers to get started.
