App Flame Review – Is This Mobile Gaming App Legit & Worth It?

However, today we’re going to be covering App Flame, a gaming app that pays you to play, to check out if it’s worth a download on your phone.

I tested out App Flame to find out how the app works and how much money you can make. And in my App Flame review, I'm sharing my personal experience with the app and how to decide if it's worth using.

App Flame is an Android app that pays you for downloading and trying new mobile games.

The app has over 5 million installs, 60,000 reviews, and a 4.2 rating on the Google Play Store! The majority of the reviews are also giving a 5 star rating.

While this app isn't as well-known as Mistplay or AppStation, it's still one of the leading mobile gaming reward apps.

It’s completely free with no in-app purchases or any sort of “pre-deposit before you get your money” type of scam.

Plus, App Flame is available is a semi-global beermoney app, meaning you can use it in the U.S., Canada, and other parts of the world.

How Does App Flame Work?

I downloaded App Flame to try out the app for this review, and I found that the app was very beginner-friendly and quite simple to use.

Earning rewards with App Flame works in four simple steps:

1. Install the app and sign up
2. Download and play new games
3. Earn points the more you play
4. Cash out

I'm going to cover each step in detail below to help you understand the ways to earn the most while using App Flame.

1. Install & Sign Up

To get started with App Flame, head over to the Google Play Store on your Android and find App Flame using the search tool.

When you’ve found the app, hit download and wait for it to finish. You can then open the app and begin the sign up process.

Immediately after opening the app, you’ll have to sign up with an email or through Facebook.

You also enter your age and gender. App Flame claims this helps match you to more interesting games.

Note that you also have to grant App Flame permission to run alongside other apps. This is standard in the world of gaming apps.

Usage data is used to track how much time you spend playing a game or using an app. They need this information because you get paid based on the amount of time you spend in a game.

You also earn 5555 mCoins (their form of reward currency) as a sign up bonus, which allows you to play a few games and cash out your rewards pretty quickly.

2. Download New Games and Play

Once you create your account, you can see a list of games on the App Flame home screen that you can choose from to begin playing and earning coins.

I had quite a few games in my list when testing out App Flame, so this was nice to see.

Each game also has number displayed next to it. This is the amount of coins you can earn per minute. It will look something like “243 coins per minute”.

You should note, this number starts to go down pretty quickly after you start playing for a while. This makes it a lot harder to earn coins as you get more settled in.

Earning less and less coins the more you play a certain game is used to incentivize you to download another game and make more coins that way.

So, it might be more beneficial to try out new games often to maximize your earning potential.

We're going to talk about the downside this creates later on in our App Flame review, but it's worth keeping in mind.

3. Earn Points

As explained earlier, App Flame pays you by the minute and each game has a different amount that you get paid for playing.

The earning part is pretty simple since all you have to do is… play games! That’s really all there is to it.

This is different than apps like Mistplay, which mostly pays you for leveling up in-game or leveling up your total Mistplay account.

As you play games, you’ll see the mCoins start to add up inside the app, and you can eventually cash out when you reach the minimum of 5,000 coins.

Just make sure you have enough free space to download all the new games you’ll be trying out. Otherwise, it would be virtually impossible to make any money.

4. Cash Out

You have two options when it comes to cashing out through App Flame: PayPal cash or free gift cards.

The ability to cash out with free PayPal cash is definitely a plus. However, if you aren’t located in the U.S., the gift card option won’t be available for you.

That leaves you with only Paypal as an option (which is money that can be used for everything anyways).

Most gift cards come within a week (most of them in just a few days) and Paypal deposits come in on either the same day or next day.

However, other App Flame reviews from users have stated that people have had trouble switching their currency to the proper payout options, which can make it difficult to deposit to a bank.

While rewards options are quite limited, there are a decent amount of gift cards to choose from. Plus, Paypal is pretty much just cash so you can’t really go wrong.

If you’re thinking about downloading App Flame, but are worried you won’t enjoy the games they have, here’s a quick list of genres to summarize your options:

This is a decent selection, and like I mentioned, you earn more coins for trying multiple games so the diverse selection is a plus.

Is App Flame Legit?

App Flame is a legit gaming rewards app that pays you with PayPal cash and free gift cards for playing different mobile games. There's plenty of payment proof online, and after I tested out the app, I did earn coins for the time I spent playing games.

That said, App Flame doesn't pay very much. It has positive reviews, but users acknowledge that it won't make you rich or let you quit your day job.

In short, App Flame is legitimate and not a scam. Use it to make quick money if you enjoy playing games, but have realistic expectations.

How Much Does App Flame Pay?

App Flame pays you in mCoins, which you can then turn into dollars through Paypal or gift cards.

You need a minimum of 5,000 mCoins ($0.50) to cash out. Most people achieve this payout within the first day of downloading the app, which is a plus.

Here are some of the reward options and the coin requirements:

• $0.50 PayPal Cash – 4,999 mCoins.
• $5 PayPal Cash – 47,065 mCoins.
• $10 PayPal Cash – 93,188 mCoins.
• $20 PayPal Cash – 182,667 mCoins.

As you can see, there's a slight discount if you hold out for larger rewards, although I recommend cashing out around $5 or $10 to make sure you actually get paid.

Essentially, 100 coins will make you $0.01 (give or take). Sometimes they have a slight discount on the amount of coins you have to reach your goal faster.

Clearly the earning potential is extremely low on this app, requiring a decent amount of hours of play time for such a small payout.

If you truly enjoy playing mobile games and trying out new ones, the app might be more worth it for you to make a few extra bucks here and there.

The Best Apps Like App Flame

If you're a fan of mobile gaming and want to expand your options beyond App Flame, this list of apps like App Flame is for you.

Why Does it Get Harder to Keep Earning Rewards?

As you play certain games on the app, your earnings per minute will slowly start to go down. This is why you may experience a loss in rewards after playing the same game for a while.

App Flame uses this method to incentivize you to download and try new games often.

However, if you look at some recent Google Play Store reviews, you'll notice that some users also report a bug that impacts their earnings, so keep an eye on this.

It seems like switching devices can cause issues, and there's also a delay sometimes for mCoins appearing in your account.

There's a decent number of games, which is a plus, but I don't think this is necessarily a long-term way to make money online.

Is There An App Flame Referral Program?

If you invite friends to App Flame, you each get 25% of all the coins you earn. This is a pretty strong referral bonus if you both actively play games and helps you reach your rewards much faster.

However, your earnings slow down, so keep this in mind.

Earning 25% of coins for life sounds great, but again, I don't think App Flame has incredibly long-lasting potential for boosting your income.

Final Thoughts

At the end of the day, App Flame is a fun and simple way to earn some free gift cards or PayPal money in your spare time as you game.

Will this make you a lot of money?

Realistically speaking… no. It’s not going to cover your bills or really change your finances too much.

This app is meant for mobile gamers who truly have a love for gaming and wouldn’t mind making a few dollars every month for doing something they were already doing.

If that’s not you, then you might be better off finding some other money making app to take up your time.

Alternatively, you can try things like gig economy apps or look into side hustles like driving apps that pay.

These sorts of things are much more lucrative, although you can't make money just by sitting around playing on your smartphone.
